Return Policy

Return Policy

Return requests may be submitted for unused, uninstalled, resellable products in the original packaging for a refund (less restocking fees and/or shipping) within 14 days of delivery, unless otherwise noted. Email info@ourhomesteading.com to request a return authorization, including your name, order # and explanation. Item(s) must be returned in new condition with all parts including original packaging. Buyer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. A of 25% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount in addition to the original shipping and handling costs.

 

 Once we receive and inspect the returned items, the approved refund amount will be credited to the original payment method.

 

Customers are responsible for return shipping fees. Some products may not be eligible for return due to manufacturer restrictions. Please contact us for specific information regarding your product.

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancel your order before it is processed free of charge. After the order has been processed, most orders can still be canceled before they ship, but will be subject to a processing fee of 3%.  Custom, made-to-order products, or products built at time of order cannot be canceled or refunded after it is processed. Orders also cannot be canceled if the vendor denies cancellation request.

By purchasing from our store, you acknowledge the following:

 

Inspect the package upon delivery and report any damage with photos immediately.

 

The customer is responsible for return shipping costs and any additional fees for refunds or exchanges.

 

Products must be returned unopened and unused, and restocking fees may apply.

 

No full refunds will be issued for orders that have left the warehouse.

 

Return and restocking fees will apply for returned orders.

 

Damages

Report damaged items within 24 hours of delivery with photos and a description to info@ourhomesteading.com. If the damage to the crate/pallet is noticed, note the damage on the shipper’s Bill of Landing (BOL). We will process a claim on your behalf.  Resolution typically consists of replacement of the damaged part(s).

 

Warranty

We are an authorized dealer for every product brand we offer. Our products are covered by the original manufacturer warranty and vary by product.  We can provide a copy of the manufacturer warranty upon request.  Warranty claims are filed with the manufacturer.

 

Chargebacks

Please contact us to resolve any issues before filing a chargeback. Fraudulent chargebacks will be treated as theft.

Refund and Return Information

 

Return requests must be submitted within 30 days after delivery. After this point, requests for returns will not be honored.

 

All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

 

Unshipped items are subject to our cancellation policy, which is outlined below.

 

Orders that are canceled or refused after they have been shipped will incur restocking fees as well as shipping fees in both directions.

 

Providing accurate shipping information is the customer's responsibility. Shipping and restocking fees will be incurred if a delivery attempt fails due to an inaccurate address or phone number.

 

Items must be unused and in their original packaging, including with the box and pallet. Products that are installed or used may not be returned.

 

Once an order is placed, custom or made-to-order items cannot be canceled or returned.

 

To request a refund, email us at info@ourhomesteading.com with your order number and explanation. If your return is approved, we will send you the necessary authorization form and return shipping address.

 

Refund Processing

We will process your refund after we receive, inspect, and restock the product. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method and may take 10 business days to process. All shipping (to and from) costs may be deducted from the refund. Restocking fees are non-refundable.
