Introducing The Yakima Wine Press

This Gorgeous table top fruit press is the perfect starting place to spend some extra leisure time out in the orchard. Bring the whole family together and harvest any soft fruit you can find, place it in the press to have the freshest juice you've ever had.

You could use harder fruit if you like, like apples, but they will need to be crushed beforehand

For fruit pressing on a small and manageable scale, the Yakima is perfect. It can be used indoors or out by being placed on any flat surface, and is small enough to be easily stored away when not in use.

 It features a beautiful old fashioned design making it as attractive as it is practical, and the cast iron frame and hardwood construction ensures it will survive many rounds of use. A collecting tray sits at the bottom of the press with a small spout for the extracted juice to flow freely into a container below.

 All presses come unfinished and will require a coating of varnish, lacquer, Poxy Coating or 2 Pints of EZ-DO Polyurethane Gel. your order will come with a ½ pt of EZ-DO Polyurethane gel with a 2″ Chip Brush, a pair of gloves and a cloth!

Parts made for the Pressure of Pressing

The acme screw presses against our updated pressing disk.  This disk, unlike the frame (which is made of laminate hardwood), is made of hard maple and has a 2" reinforced handle with inset for easy handling. The tub has beveled staves for easy cleaning. 

For maintenance we recommend that a small amount of lubricant is applied to the screw as well as the inside the pressure foot.
